Integrations
Advanced IT support solutions for specific areas
By striving for our customers’ satisfaction we also provide the ability to customize our software to meet the needs of specific medical areas in our MedWorkS system.
Here are some examples of the many integrations we have:
1) EcoSTAT – integrating medical and economic IT systems
2) CATO – for monitoring oncology sub-areas
3) TraceLine – connection to the IT system of the National Blood Supply Service
EcoSTAT integration – IT support for the management aspects of medical work
EcoSTAT integration connects MedWorkS medical system and CT-EcoSTAT economic and management system – so the costs of healing can be measured even at case-level.
With accurate data you can assess more easily how you can make your institution more economical, what steps you need to take to optimize your spending.
How it works?
Data on the materials used can be recorded immediately after use by hospital workers and it happens directly in the area’s IT system: for example, in the course of patient care in the medical system, in case of patient catering in the catering system.
What tasks it completes?
- acceptance of pharmacy commitment (purchase, receipt, invoicing)
- receipt of monthly pharmacy uses and quarterly inventory value sent directly to the ledger module
- transfer data on patient-level meals to the CT catering system
- receiving department inventory movements and changes
- receiving department-level material requests
- receiving worksheet requirements
CATO interface module – for IT integration of oncology therapy
CATO is a unique software that can track all areas of oncology therapy – treatment, long-term therapy planning and preparing cytostatic agents. MedWorkS CATO interface module provides maximum support for system usage, avoids double data recording and supports accurate and efficient work.
Why do we recommend using it in your institution?
If you have CATO system you can not only follow the oncology therapy process but also ensure the quality of patient care and helps you optimize costs.
How it works?
The system records the following:
- patient’s personal data
- patient care data
- test data (diagnoses, weight, height, lab data)
- transmitting chemotherapy protocol code
After analyzing data, CATO shows how much of a given cytostatic is optimally needed or sufficient for recovery. CATO handles the data of several patients at the same time, allowing the economical use of cytostatic.
Trace Line system interface module – IT support for blood supply
It connects your hospital to the IT system of the National Blood Supply Service so your institution can also enjoy the benefits of nationwide patient and donor record keeping and uniform blood product management.
The module is an inestimable tool for your institution:
- provides a high level quality assurance in the use of blood products
Accurate record keeping with TraceLine, fast information-flow, follow-up patient and test information minimizes the risk of errors.
Being linked to the National Blood Supply Service’s system is strongly recommended for alignment with existing EU standards.
Directive 2002/98/EK prescribes the unique and unambiguous identification of blood products delivered from blood donations in the community and also lays down strict quality and safety standards.
- stock management of blood products becomes more effective
With our integrated system you keep an accurate, up-to-date inventory of your used products and financial accounts.
EcoSTAT, CATO and TraceLine interface modules provide superior IT support to specialized areas such as patient catering, oncology therapy or blood product management.
Raise your institution’s IT system to a higher level with these additions of the MedWorkS system!
